Rhythm: Digital pre-work → Live session → Light homework or social application
This is designed to feel low pressure. Small steps count.
Session aim: Get set up, feel welcome, and take your first relaxed step into Welsh.
How we’ll do this: Light pre-work, a few playful phrases, and gentle WhatsApp check-ins so you know you are not alone.
What we’ll cover: Popti Ping, Hoffi Coffi, platform basics, and saying “shwmae” in the group.
Outcome (plain English): You will feel confident enough to try a couple of Welsh words and take part in the group in a way that suits you.
How to use this page: Use Previous and Next to move through the steps. Low time or low energy? Just complete Get Ready. That is enough for now.
If you have a bit more time: pick one word or phrase you like from the video and bring it to the session.
If you have not already done it in Orientation, you can complete the Distance Travelled confidence check-in. It is private, not graded, and you cannot fail.
If you choose to send your scores, it helps Tidy Butt evidence course impact for funding and future community delivery.
Social: Post a voice note or text sharing your favourite funny Welsh word, and reply to one other person.
Digital: Send one tiny reflection (WhatsApp or private): one word you recognised, one moment you enjoyed, or one thing you want to try again.
Reassurance
This is not a test. You cannot fail. You can listen, notice, and try in your own way.
If you prefer offline: printable versions will be added over time.

This is a stretch option. It is for interest and conversation, not performance.
