Rhythm: Digital pre-work → Live session → Light homework or social application
This is designed to feel low pressure. Small steps count.
Session aim: Feel more confident introducing yourself and having a tiny “hello” interaction.
How we’ll do this: Repeat-and-build practice, friendly prompts, and optional pair activities.
What we’ll cover: Names, where you live, and simple question and answer patterns.
Outcome (plain English): You can do a short intro without overthinking it.
How to use this page: Use Previous and Next to move through the steps. Low time or low energy? Do Get Ready only.
Watch: the “Meeting New People” video (shared by your facilitator).
Try these once:
If you have a bit more time: say your intro in three chunks: Shwmae, Dw i’n …, Dw i’n byw yn …
Social: Send a greeting in WhatsApp. If someone replies, send a small acknowledgement (for example “Da iawn”).
Digital: Write a one-line introduction in Welsh (you can keep it private).
Reassurance
You are building confidence, not being assessed. One phrase is plenty.
Pick one (only if you want to):
This is a stretch option. It is for interest and conversation, not performance.
