Rhythm: Digital pre-work → Live session → Light homework or social application
This is designed to feel low pressure. Small steps count.
Session aim: Use simple Welsh in a real, everyday setting like a café or shop.
How we’ll do this: A short scenario video, a few practical phrases, and supportive practice together.
What we’ll cover: Ordering a drink, saying thank you, and keeping it calm and doable.
Outcome (plain English): You will feel more confident trying Welsh in everyday life, even if it is one word.
How to use this page: Use Previous and Next to move through the steps. If your energy is low, do Get Ready only.
Watch: the café scenario video (shared by your facilitator).
Try one phrase once:
If you have a bit more time: pick the easiest phrase and practise it quietly 3 times.
Social: Use any Welsh at Grounded or a café (even one word). If you are not going, use it in WhatsApp instead.
Digital: Note the word you tried (private is fine).
Reassurance
Trying it once counts. You are practising bravery, not perfection.
Pick one (only if you want to):
This is a stretch option. It is for interest and conversation, not performance.
